1 : 1 Book Development sessions
with Book Developer & Creative Midwife
~ The Gentle Rhythm of our Work: Bi-Weekly Guided Conversations ~
Two one-hour book-development sessions each month create a nurturing yet purposeful container for your book's emergence. Inside you are all manner of wonderful qualities—some already blossomed, some still in seed-potential—that can inspire and support you to write the book of your heart. Our work is to invite them out by listening to you together. This bi-weekly cadence provides the perfect balance: enough structure to maintain momentum while giving your emerging insights time to deepen between our conversations.
Your investment of $350/month includes:
Two full-hour sessions of deep listening and creative midwifery
One additional hour of my focused attention between our meetings—for reviewing your writing, answering questions, or holding space for your process
A recording and transcript of each session to revisit insights that emerged
WHAT UNFOLDS DURING OUR SESSIONS:
My complete presence and deep listening—together, we'll hear what wants to be expressed through you, allowing the treasure waiting to become known through you to emerge
Interactive dialogue that helps you discover your own innate wisdom and creative pathways, supported by my 30+ years of professional experience in the book publications field
Gentle encouragement to remain faithful to your heart's project between our meetings—and if you haven't written, we'll explore what's happening inside you with compassion, clearing the way for your natural creativity to flow again
A dedicated companion and guide on this journey of discovery, ensuring you're never alone as you bring forth the book of your heart
“I worked with Naomi over many years to revise, edit, and polish my trilogy — and always felt gracefully received and held through this 'book birthing' process. Her faith in my book was very important to me in keeping my inner critic at bay. She inspired me to honor what I have written by doing the work necessary to bring it into the coherent and beautiful form it deserves. Her support and kindness and wisdom have been worth every penny!" — Rahima Warren, MFT, author, The Star-Seer's Prophecy (a fantasy trilogy of the healing journey)

Community Circles for Writers
~ Gatherings & Offerings ~
Periodically, I create spaces where writers can come together in community to listen intimately to themselves, such as:
The Co-Writing Sanctuary
Write in protected, shared solitude, held by the energy I hold for you, as well as the presence of like-minded souls on a similar writing journey. A 12-week journey of self-intimacy and pages-productivity out of the natural process.
“That was probably the best writing group experience I ever had and the most surprising feeling of sanctuary and grace. Your beautiful voice, wise words, kindness, and encouragement . . . what an incredible feat you pulled off, transcending technology, distance, and time to bring us together in such blessed energy. It feels like such a different time dimension. I feel such freedom. It’s allowed me to explore.”—Jane Majkiewicz, writer, editor, literary agency emeritus
The Book-Writer’s Wellness Clinic — Bring your questions about your process or passages from your writing for my gentle, insightful feedback. Offered periodically

Professional Manuscript Editing —Polishing Your Writing
~ Editing Services ~
With decades of experience as a professional book editor, I offer comprehensive manuscript editing services to my clients—whether chapter by chapter or once a complete draft emerges. This continuity of care makes sense, as I've likely been present with your book's evolution from its earliest whispers.
My book editing services include developmental editing, substantive editing, copy editing, and manuscript polishing to prepare your work for publication
Occasionally, I may suggest another editor whose particular gifts align with your specific needs, or when fresh eyes might better serve your writing's journey to completion.
Audio Books
Once your written wisdom is ready to share, I can also connect you with a respected audiobook producer, where you may choose to voice your own work or select from a carefully curated group of professional narrators who can honor the spirit of your words.
(This service is for my book-development clients only)
For those called to the path of independent (“indie”) publishing, I offer comprehensive self-publishing guidance and mentoring through the transition from private creation to public offering. I can connect you with a reputable Print-On-Demand publishing service that will turn your manuscript into a professional book, in print or e-book format, or both, and will also distribute your book to both online and physical bookstores.
This phase—known as "Production"—includes preparing your completed manuscript for its journey into the world through editing, proofreading, typesetting, and illustration (if desired). I can either guide you to do this process yourself, including referring you to trusted professionals I've gathered over my years in this field, or handle these details on your behalf.
For more details, see the Self-Publishing Coordination page on this site.
Note: While I don't personally provide book promotion or marketing services, I can direct you to specialists in this area or resources for your own exploration.

BOOK-ILLUSTRATION ART CONSULTATIONS
Maybe your book could benefit from having some kind of visual art to complement the text. Art within a text (usually, black-and-white to avoid the cost of color printing) can
Address the reader’s right brain, thereby enhancing receptivity to your text
Clarify your ideas in a more visual way
Break up otherwise visually monotonous blocks of text
Bring a level of fun, even playfulness to the experience of reading your book;
And more.
As an artist as well as a Book Developer, I understand book illustration and its benefits. I can help you:
Determine whether visual illustration is relevant for your book.
Understand the range of possibilities for using visual images in your book.
Go about finding an illustrator whose style fits for your book.
(You can see examples of my own illustrations here.)
